Senior Payroll Officer (Finance)

Location: Leeds, UK

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

What you will do

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing and HMRC submissions, including P11d reporting.
• Process maternity, paternity, and other parental leaves as well as sickness absence in line with legislation.
• Administer pension schemes and manage auto-enrolment.
• Perform manual pay calculations and Payroll & GL reconciliations.
• Resolve complex pay queries from employees and the business.
• Maintain and adhere to Sox control responsibilities.

Requirements

• CIPP qualification (or currently studying) with up-to-date knowledge.
• Experience within a busy payroll department (3+ years desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work to set deadlines delivering consistent and accurate information.
