What you will do

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Execute simple machinist duties and mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to diagnose issues, replace/repair parts, and make adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report to supervision.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety regulations; complete required reports.

Requirements

• Completion of apprenticeship program or ticketed Millwright/Electrician; licensed journeyman.
• Experience moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery.
• Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities/malfunctions in equipment.
• Skill in fabricating parts to replace defective ones.
• Aptitude in reading blueprints, diagrams, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Good written/verbal communication, analytical skills, strong work ethic, and team attitude.
