Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Menlo Park, California, or New York, New York; in-person attendance is expected at least 3 days per week.

Base pay: $166,000–$195,000 USD in Zone 1; $146,000–$172,000 USD in Zone 2; $129,000–$152,000 USD in Zone 3. Additional bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Execute high-craft visual updates and refresh core Robinhood products.
• Generate and test incremental changes across the mobile application using an experimentation-first approach, including A/B testing.
• Design highly visible surfaces such as the home tab and watch lists across multiple business domains.
• Present design concepts to executive leadership and explain decisions involving business trade-offs.
• Partner with Product Managers and engineering teams to deliver user experiences in an ambiguous environment with minimal written requirements.

Requirements

• Experience designing consumer mobile applications on high-visibility surfaces.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft and execution from an in-house or agency background.
• Experience with experimentation methodologies, broad A/B testing, and rapid concept generation.
• Ability to navigate changing product requirements and defend design decisions under business constraints.
• Collaborative approach to building relationships across product teams.
