What you will do

• Use Shima Seiki Apex Design suite to create realistic 3D CAD simulations for knitwear and accessories.
• Collaborate with design teams and technicians to streamline production through virtual prototyping.
• Apply technical knowledge of yarns, gauges, stitch structures, and construction methods.
• Create detailed artworks based on customer sketches for technician programming.
• Develop virtual yarn palettes and match yarn colour swatches.
• Produce CAD presentation overviews for design options and colourways.

Requirements

• Design-related degree with strong technical knitwear knowledge.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload.

Nice to have

• Prior training or experience with Shima Seiki Apex Design suite.
• Experience using Clo 3D.
