Location: Manchester & North West England (home-based with regional travel). Must be UK-based

What you will do

• Deliver structured food safety assessments aligned to UK food law and brand standards.
• Assess compliance against FSA requirements and internal codes of practice.
• Review food safety management systems, focusing on HACCP-based controls.
• Identify risks and non-conformities, providing clear and proportionate feedback.
• Produce accurate, timely, and objective written reports.
• Operate independently across multiple sites within the North West region.

Requirements

• Background operating at EHO / Food Safety Officer (FSO) standard.
• Environmental Health degree or equivalent qualification.
• Chartered or Practitioner membership (e.g., CIEH or equivalent).
• Substantial experience in food safety enforcement, auditing, or multi-site management.
• Strong working knowledge of UK Food Law and FSA guidance.
• Ability to travel across Manchester and the North West.
