Senior Software Engineer (SaaS)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (SaaS): Designing, building, and scaling a robust platform for a diverse product ecosystem with an accent on performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (2–3 days/week onsite). Must have current, unrestricted authorization to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain software across multiple technology stacks.
• Take full ownership of features from technical design through to production support.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical direction of products and platforms.
• Develop scalable, cloud-first solutions focusing on performance and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and SRE practices to enhance automation and observability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers via code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Symfony) and JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
• Cloud experience, specifically within the AWS ecosystem.
• Current, unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Go, Ruby, C#, or Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Mobile development experience (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter).
• Previous experience in people leadership or leading cross-team technical directions.
