Location: Remote (USA). Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain government clearance. Ideal candidate is located on the US East coast or able to work US East coast hours.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable, responsive WordPress-based websites and portals.
• Create custom plugins, themes, and modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data flow between web properties and external platforms.
• Optimize web performance, security, and SEO using industry best practices.
• Implement AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, marketing, and communications teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain government clearance.
• Based on the US East Coast or able to work East Coast hours.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and version control (Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and CDNs.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools like Gulp or Webpack.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
