Location: Remote (US-based projects, 8am-5pm CST, proven US residential construction experience required)

What you will do

• Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractors based on drawings and specifications.
• Establish project budgets, track costs vs. estimates, forecast variances, and manage change orders.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain project reporting on budget status, progress, risks, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers on scope, schedule, and costs.
• Improve estimating processes, templates, cost databases, and workflows during downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience in US residential construction estimating and project controls
• Strong knowledge of remodeling projects including labor, subcontractors, and cost structures
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Procore, MS Project, or similar tools
• Analytical skills to identify cost and schedule risks early
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently

Nice to have

• Background in Construction Management or Engineering
• PMP or similar certification
• Experience with AI tools for estimating and automation
