Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack

Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack (frontend lean): Lead technical efforts to build reliable and maintainable applications, infrastructure, and interfaces for health care system interactions with an accent on fullstack development and cross-team collaboration. Focus on planning and executing complex projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring delivery of high-quality technology capabilities.

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles office, 3 days per week (Thursdays required).

Salary: $192,000 - $252,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
• Serve as subject matter expert on business and technical domains.
• Collaborate with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems.
• Mentor engineers, improve technology practices, and set team direction.
• Ensure delivery of large technology capabilities and mitigate risks in cross-team projects.
• Guide development of Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) and reduce failure domains.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading cross-pod or cross-company deliverables
• 5+ years leading technical contributions and improving team quality
• 5+ years applying CS concepts and enforcing code standards
• 5+ years leading technical teams, including mentoring juniors
