What you will do

• Support causal analysis by designing and conducting analyses using causal inference methods to evaluate program impact on medication adherence, costs, and utilization.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate and improve causal analysis code infrastructure, integrating agentic AI coding tools into the analysis process.
• Work closely with senior researchers and data scientists on healthcare claims data.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Master’s or PhD program in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent early-career experience.
• Understanding and practical experience with causal inference methods (e.g., propensity score matching, difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity).
• Proficiency or interest in using AI tools to assist in writing SQL, Python, or R scripts for data cleaning and statistical analyses.
• Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.
• Stable high-speed internet connection and private work area for HIPAA compliance; ability to pass background check and complete Information Security/HIPAA training.
• Proactive problem solver comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare claims and administrative data.
• Machine learning causal inference experience (e.g., causal forests).
