Data Scientist (Healthcare)

Salary: $135,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and build ML/AI models to improve clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with Data Science and cross-functional teams to define requirements, optimize data collection, and deliver insights on strategy and patient care.
• Develop ML models using clinical, claims, and SDoH data for actionable recommendations.
• Define and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting for models including metrics, hyperparameters, and drift.
• Query Snowflake, prepare data for EDA and modeling, and create clean, maintainable code.
• Own the full model development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, statistics, and research methods
• Ability to work with and present findings to non-technical staff
• Experience in a start-up or growth environment

Nice to have

• Healthcare experience
• Experience building with LLMs and AI integration best practices
• Engineering skills with AWS, Tableau, dbt, Dagster, and distributed computing
