Location: Hybrid in Tempe, Arizona office, 3 days per week (Thursdays required)

Salary: $180,504 - $236,911 per year

• Become expert on DevOps, site reliability, and cloud best practices for the team's domains.
• Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems.
• Mentor engineers, improve technology practices, and drive technical roadmap prioritization.
• Design and build resilient systems, reduce failure domains, and minimize outage impacts.
• Own medium to large features or infrastructure projects from design through completion.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with impactful accomplishments across technologies.
• Experience leading cross-pod or cross-company deliverables and technical contributions.
• Expertise in CS concepts, writing stable code, and building fault-tolerant, scalable systems.
• Experience mentoring and training junior engineers.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in AWS or GCP at scale.
• Advanced Terraform for multi-account IaC.
• Proven Kubernetes and ArgoCD workflows.
• SRE background with SLOs, error budgets, incident management.
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Prometheus/Grafana observability, Istio security.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
