Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (AWS/K8s): Overseeing multiple teams focused on Edge networking, K8s platform, and CI/CD to scale identity infrastructure with an accent on reliability and cost-effectiveness. Focus on driving microservice journeys, improving SDLC for Infrastructure as Code, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
Location: Hybrid, Washington, DC. Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee)
Salary: $207,000 — $284,900 USD

What you will do
- Manage SRE teams supporting various workloads operating in private sector environments.
- Drive DevOps maturity, the microservice journey, and overall workload reliability.
- Develop powerful tooling, intuitive self-service capabilities, and robust self-healing patterns to accelerate engineering velocity.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers and managers across platform and infrastructure domains.
- Perform engineering design evaluations and ensure project completion within resource, budget, and scheduling constraints.
- Improve SDLC processes for Cloud Infrastructure as Code, including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management.
- Extensive experience using Agile and DevOps to build product infrastructure at scale, preferably on AWS.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in software development, PaaS, and automation.
- Deep experience operating large-scale observability platforms (e.g., Grafana, Splunk, APM).
- Ability to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status for access to federal environments.
