Salary: $174,000 — $267,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant Kubernetes platforms.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EKS, ECS, S3, VPCs, RDS, and IAM.
• Automate application deployments and streamline services using Helm charts.
• Implement Karpenter for dynamic cluster scaling and manage Istio for service mesh observability and security.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless flow from development to production.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot system issues related to performance, availability, and security.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).
• 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• 4+ years of experience with Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CKA, CKAD, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of RBAC, encryption, and compliance frameworks for cloud platforms.
