What you will do

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable systems across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance and uptime using Prometheus and Grafana to meet SLOs.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and support SOC2 security compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, or distributed systems with senior-level impact.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and AWS services and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and best practices.
• Must be based in or able to work from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting MLOps platforms or AI workload scheduling using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Proficiency with SQL or NoSQL database technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
