Staff Software Engineer (Elixir/React)

Location: 100% remote option available within the Americas and Europe, with offices in SF, NYC, and Columbus

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 (not location adjusted, same globally)

What you will do

• Architect and develop new features and products in the Elixir codebase for web applications and API
• Work with product management to plan and scope projects and initiatives
• Present innovative solutions to senior leadership, aligning with company goals
• Lead and architect technical solutions for complex projects ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Write high-quality, tested code and participate in code reviews
• Mentor others, foster excellence, and eliminate technical roadblocks

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering
• Designed, built, and maintained production services at scale with reliable systems
• Write high-quality, reliable code and take ownership of systems
• Experience developing solutions to ambiguous problems
• Solid understanding of web security fundamentals
• Desire to mentor and lift up team members

• Fintech experience
