Staff Fullstack Engineer (Bitcoin)

Location: Remote within the Americas and Europe; offices in San Francisco, New York, and Columbus.

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year, not location-adjusted.

What you will do

• Architect and develop features and products in the Elixir codebase powering web applications and APIs.
• Plan and scope initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Present technical solutions to senior leadership and align engineering work with company goals.
• Solve ambiguous technical and business problems while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Ship tested code, participate in code reviews, and remove technical roadblocks.
• Mentor engineers and help foster a culture of engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable production services at scale.
• Strong web and database fundamentals with ownership of systems and code quality.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems and communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Desire to mentor and support other engineers.
• English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elixir, React, Kubernetes, and Postgres.
• Fintech experience.
• Experience at a rapidly scaling company.
• Interest in Bitcoin.
