Full Stack Engineer (Java)

Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Public Trust clearance is required. Travel: 0–20%.

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain Java, Spring Boot, RESTful, and microservices-based applications integrated with Palantir Foundry.
• Analyze and modernize complex legacy workflows for DHS mission systems.
• Build unit tests, remediate SonarQube findings, troubleshoot application issues, and maintain technical documentation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, cloud deployments, and infrastructure using AWS, Jenkins/CloudBees, Git, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and periodically assist with Help Desk troubleshooting.

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of application development or Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, MVC, and JDBC.
• Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Node, Struts, Maven, and jQuery.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, SQL optimization, AWS, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring, and Windows/Linux environments.

Nice to have

• Current DHS Public Trust Suitability.
• Palantir Foundry Application Developer certification.
• Experience with MQ or Kafka, AppDynamics, and Datadog.
