What you will do

• Own the global Workday Absence domain, including configuration design and ongoing system evolution.
• Lead the implementation of complex absence plans, accrual calculations, and eligibility rules.
• Partner with HR to translate policies and regulatory requirements into scalable system configurations.
• Contribute to broader Workday platform design across HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Performance domains.
• Develop and supervise reporting solutions and calculated fields to ensure data integrity.
• Drive platform reliability through proactive issue identification and structural improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise platforms, specifically hands-on Workday expertise.
• Deep expertise in designing Workday Absence solutions, including accruals, eligibility, and leave processes.
• Proven ability to translate sophisticated business rules into maintainable system configurations.
• Experience developing Workday reports and calculated fields in production environments.
• Ability to mentor and guide other analysts in solution design and delivery.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with payroll processes and downstream absence integrations.
• Experience with Workday Security configuration.
• Exposure to integrations such as EIB and Core Connectors.
• Experience in global, matrixed enterprise environments.
