What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Platform and Integration Engineers, setting expectations for ownership, quality, and delivery.
• Oversee design, stability, and evolution of the Workday platform, ensuring scalability and alignment with architecture standards.
• Drive effective delivery of platform changes through structured mechanisms like backlog management and Agile practices.
• Ensure platform reliability via operational practices, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
• Partner with stakeholders to shape demand, manage expectations, and align work with business priorities.
• Collaborate across Product, Data, Security teams and lead distributed global team for cohesive solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience with enterprise platforms, including hands-on Workday.
• 3+ years managing individual contributors in delivery or engineering environments.
• Experience leading delivery and operations of enterprise platforms, balancing run and change.
• Strong understanding of Workday and HR processes for solution design.
• Experience with structured delivery models, Agile practices, backlog management.
• Proven track record in global, matrixed environments leading distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Workday or enterprise platform engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Agile product delivery and platform operating models.
• Experience in consulting/advisory and internal delivery environments.
• Exposure to multiple Workday domains like Absence, Compensation, Talent, Integrations.
