What you will do

• Own month-end close, produce management accounts and financial statements, prepare GL analysis
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, FCA regulations; manage statutory reporting, audits, tax filings
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls, perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with finance business partnering for insights supporting strategic decisions; coach team members
• Drive finance transformation: process improvements, automation, NetSuite optimization, new tech adoption
• Standardize and simplify finance processes across business units and geographies

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 2+ years post-qualified experience, ideally from practice to corporate/fintech
• Strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge
• Significant experience in finance transformation, process improvement in complex organizations
• Understanding of finance operations and best practices across full lifecycle
• Advanced Excel; NetSuite experience advantageous; regulated financial services (FCA preferred)
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail; thrive in fast-paced scaling environment
