Treasury and Group Accountant

TL;DR

Treasury and Group Accountant (Finance): Delivering corporate and treasury accounting outcomes across a multinational group with an accent on financial integrity, statutory readiness, and technical treasury oversight. Location: Based in London, UK (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote). Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Perform daily, weekly, and month-end bank reconciliations and prepare reconciliation packs.
• Support month-end close activities, variance analysis, and senior stakeholder commentary.
• Manage accounting for foreign currency and cross-border transactions.
• Prepare treasury-related journals, including interest, fees, and FX revaluation.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and US GAAP and respond to audit queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in treasury or corporate accounting within a multinational environment.
• Experience with cash pooling and notional pooling structures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, specifically FX and intercompany accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Experience with OneStream.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or reconciliation tools.
