TL;DR

Treasury and Group Accountant (Finance): Delivering corporate and treasury accounting outcomes across a multinational group with an accent on financial integrity, statutory readiness, and technical treasury oversight. Focus on managing month‑end close, foreign currency transactions, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.

Location: Based in London, UK (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote). Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

  • Perform daily, weekly, and month-end bank reconciliations and prepare reconciliation packs.
  • Support month-end close activities, variance analysis, and senior stakeholder commentary.
  • Manage accounting for foreign currency and cross-border transactions.
  • Prepare treasury-related journals, including interest, fees, and FX revaluation.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS and US GAAP and respond to audit queries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury or corporate accounting within a multinational environment.
  • Experience with cash pooling and notional pooling structures.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, specifically FX and intercompany accounting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
  • Right to work in the UK is mandatory.

Nice to have

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  • Experience with OneStream.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or reconciliation tools.
