What you will do

• Drive the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, event-driven platforms for document content extraction and transformation.
• Implement production-grade applications using C#/.NET and AWS services.
• Lead architectural decisions for OCR technologies such as Tesseract and Apryse OCR.
• Design and implement scalable REST and GraphQL APIs to power the frontend and third-party integrations.
• Integrate AI-driven services and emerging technologies to increase backend efficiencies.
• Mentor engineers across levels, elevating technical skills and best practices through code reviews and design discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade cloud applications at scale.
• 5+ years of technical leadership and development using OCR technologies.
• Expert proficiency in C#/.NET and AWS.
• Expertise with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms and event-driven microservices.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Deep experience building document management or enterprise content management systems.
• Legal industry expertise or experience with B2B SaaS in regulated industries.
• Experience integrating AI services into production systems.
