Salary: $125,000 – $156,300 USD

What you will do

• Design and build systems that integrate software, automation, and biology for a scalable clinical genomics assay platform.
• Collaborate with assay development and automation scientists to create high-scale, robust workflows.
• Partner with Product Management, R&D, and senior leadership to enhance existing processes and systems.
• Ensure seamless integration between the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and the automation software stack.
• Analyze and optimize front-end applications using technical software and bioinformatics expertise.
• Develop the foundational architecture for fully automated laboratory systems.

Requirements

• BA/BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
• 8 or more years of experience in software development.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects into production.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and experience building scalable backend or full-stack systems.
• Solid understanding of version control, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), RESTful APIs, and microservice architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with LIMS systems integration.
• Experience writing software for complex hardware and instrumentation.
