What you will do

• Identify daily content opportunities tied to news cycles, cultural moments, and narrative priorities to advance key themes like affordability and corruption.
• Develop insights-driven, platform-specific strategies and bespoke audience development plans for priority partners.
• Prepare and distribute high-performing content across elected officials' platforms, networks, and creators.
• Execute rapid response content production during breaking news, repurpose media appearances, and adapt assets for easy deployment.
• Track performance metrics, monitor conversations, and document best practices to inform strategy adjustments and scale learnings.

Requirements

• 4+ years in digital communications, social media strategy, or content creation in political/advocacy settings
• Deep knowledge of platform best practices across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, and emerging platforms
• Experience with content tools like Canva, Opus, video editing software; data-driven analysis of social metrics
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders, strong project management in fast-paced environment
• Voracious digital content consumer with entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to progressive values

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
• Rapid response content creation experience
