Management Accountant

TL;DR

Management Accountant (Manufacturing): Complete month-end activities and lead analysis, reporting, and control of sales order profitability, inventory, fixed assets, cost centers, prepayments, and accruals with an accent on ERP system processes and compliance with US GAAP. Focus on JDE to SAP implementation, process improvements, audit support, and cross-departmental collaboration for cost savings and scrap reductions.

What you will do

• Complete month-end activities within 3 days on a 4-4-5 basis.
• Lead finance analysis for sales profitability, inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), stock control, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and cost centers.
• Act as local finance expert for JDE ERP processes and SAP implementation project.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies and US GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC606), loss provisions, and excess/obsolete stock reporting.
• Provide analysis for internal/external audits and low-level cost approvals.
• Support planning, budgets, forecasting, and act as backup for finance queries during absences.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, sales, and planning to reduce scrap, meet revenue targets, and achieve cost savings.
• Improve reporting for production variances, warranty/repair activities, and Office of National Statistics requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified or Finalist Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in engineering/manufacturing companies
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven application of accounting standards, US GAAP advantage
• Knowledge of SAP and/or JDE advantage
• Confident communicator willing to support other departments proactively
