What you will do

• Build and evolve the integrations platform for industrial systems such as Ignition, Kepware, MQTT, and OPC UA servers.
• Implement end-to-end IoT and sensor experiences, from backend ingestion and transformation to frontend monitoring surfaces.
• Own and optimize core services handling high-volume sensor telemetry and real-world industrial data.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to transform unstructured industrial data into intuitive product experiences.
• Deliver clean, testable code using C#, TypeScript, and React across web, mobile, and on-premise applications.
• Mentor other engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive long-term platform health through architectural discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong programming skills in C# and TypeScript for production-grade applications.
• Solid experience with React, Node.js, and building or consuming GraphQL APIs.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs with an understanding of versioning, pagination, and idempotency.
• Proficiency in relational databases and data modeling for high-throughput, event-driven workloads.
• Must be based in or able to work from Montréal or Toronto.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial/OT protocols (MQTT, Sparkplug B, OPC UA, Modbus, Ignition, Kepware).
• Experience building IoT data pipelines, time-series storage, or device fleet management.
• Experience with on-premise applications or hybrid cloud/edge deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud providers, specifically AWS IoT, Timestream, or SiteWise.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing LLM-powered features for production integrations.
