What you will do

• Develop custom memory modules for high-performance server and embedded applications.
• Create PCB component footprints per IPC-SM-782 and multi-layer stack-ups (4-16 layers).
• Perform component placement and routing of differential pairs and controlled impedance lines with tight length matching.
• Develop fabrication and assembly drawings and release complete PCB packages, including Gerber files.
• Lead placement, post-layout, and DFM review meetings.
• Integrate and update tools based on current industry standards and technologies.

Requirements

• BS in Electronics or equivalent experience (MS is a plus).
• 5+ years of professional experience in the PCB design field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture.
• Expertise in High-Speed Digital System Design and High-Density Interconnect (HDI) methodology.
• Ability to read and interpret component manufacturer data sheets.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Newark, CA or Irvine, CA.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of JEDEC DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5 standards.
• Experience with invention disclosure and the patent process.
