What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to define, scope, and plan the engineering roadmap.
• Build and ship new features to improve the user experience for both employees and employers.
• Develop software to streamline internal operations and enable efficient scaling.
• Invest in engineering health and processes to ensure sustainable and secure development.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to other engineers on the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Ability to decompose complex domains into manageable technical pieces.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with modern software tools including git, CI/CD, testing, and cloud platform services.
• Must be based in the United States (remote across the country).

Nice to have

• Experience with Django, React, Python, JS, Postgres, and Heroku.
