Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/React)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/React): Developing a Digital Evidence Management System for the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community with an accent on scalable data pipelines, APIs, and analytical tools. Focus on automating data processes and building custom tools for advanced investigative workflows.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in or near Chantilly, VA or Woodbridge, VA). On-site requirement of one day per week.

What you will do

• Develop software to support the collection, management, and analysis of digital evidence.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and analytical tools.
• Build tools to integrate and automate data processes to improve overall system performance.
• Create custom tools to support advanced forensic and investigative workflows.
• Provide technical advice to support ongoing investigative operations.
• Document technical work to ensure systems are maintainable and scalable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Hands-on programming experience with Java, Spring framework, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
• Experience working with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and code management tools like GitLab or GitHub.
• Ability to pass a High-Risk Public Trust background investigation.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and React.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and OAuth2 data flows.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience working with AWS and Nutanix cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
