What you will do

• Define and maintain architectural roadmaps aligning modernization efforts with organizational strategy and future-state objectives.
• Lead the design and adoption of shared technical solutions, reusable components, and DevSecOps capabilities across teams.
• Embed security into solution designs, balancing compliance, risk mitigation, and delivery efficiency.
• Provide architectural oversight across multiple workstreams and mentor architects and senior engineers.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural patterns to inform strategic investment decisions.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for cross-team dependencies and complex design decisions.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of progressive experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or enterprise technology roles.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., healthcare, public sector); CMS experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience governing architectures across cloud-based, distributed, and security-sensitive environments.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical or management discipline.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, TOGAF, or CISSP certifications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and modern API-based integration patterns.
• Familiarity with interoperability standards and data exchange frameworks.
