What you will do

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Emergency, Severe Weather, and Business Continuity Plans.
• Coordinate incident response as part of the Incident Command during emergencies, supporting the Crisis Management Centre.
• Oversee the operational readiness of the Security Command Centre, managing emergency communications and alarms.
• Develop and deliver emergency management training and multi-agency simulations to validate preparedness.
• Manage and develop the Command Centre team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders, including emergency services and Local Resilience Forums (LRFs).

Requirements

• Must be able to satisfy the UK home office requirements to work in the UK.
• Must possess a clean driving license acceptable in the UK and be able to provide a clear enhanced DBS.
• Experience in Emergency Management, Resilience, or Security, preferably in large, complex, guest-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of UK emergency response frameworks and multi-agency working principles.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and be available on demand to manage security threats 24/7.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related security field preferred.

Nice to have

• SIA licensing or relevant executive security certifications.
• OSH / NEBOSH certifications.
