TL;DR
Dealer Governance Specialist (Used Car Marketplace): Maintaining an engaged and compliant Dealer community with an accent on enforcing guidelines for dealer operations, managing risks, and operationalising Terms & Conditions. Focus on handling escalations, reducing dealer-led cancellations, onboarding new dealers, and making consistent sanctioning decisions.
Location: Brighton (hybrid: office 4 days/week, 1 day WFH)

What you will do
- Manage escalations and review processes via ticketing system for dealer behaviour, issuing warnings and documenting outcomes to prevent future issues.
- Support initiatives to reduce dealer-led cancellations.
- Complete onboarding for new dealers, ensuring compliance with T&Cs, Code of Conduct, and regulations.
- Make commercially aware decisions on sanctioning dealers, including potential bans, using documented frameworks.
- Contribute to developing internal processes and risk matrices.
- Fulfil other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience supporting customers and frontline operations teams.
- Ability to balance commercial awareness with compliance.
- Analytical approach to spot trends in data and drive recommendations.
- Interest or experience in marketplace environments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders from specialist to C-suite level.
- Collaborative problem-solving and dedication to customer service.

- Knowledge of automotive pricing systems such as CAP.
