What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of 5+ engineers, handling 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.
• Set the technical direction and priorities for the SDK team in alignment with company goals.
• Coordinate SDK deliveries and dependencies across Product, Vision, Firmware, and Infrastructure teams.
• Contribute as a senior developer through design reviews, writing C++ and Python, and solving complex bugs.
• Own critical SDK design decisions regarding API stability, wrappers, data models, and packaging.
• Drive software sustainability, including monorepo strategy, dependency management, and CI/CD optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade software.
• Proven experience in people management or as a formal technical lead.
• Expert-level proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of SDK/API design, versioning, and developer experience.
• Experience with modern build systems (CMake, Ninja, Bazel) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Oslo, Norway.
