What you will do

• Consolidate fragmented observability tools into a single, unified platform based on OpenTelemetry or similar.
• Propose and execute a GCP project and organization structure consolidation to simplify IAM, billing, and management.
• Implement and maintain a robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) foundation using Terraform or Terragrunt.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines across backend, frontend, and POS projects using GitHub Actions and Vercel.
• Lead technical security initiatives, including infrastructure hardening, secrets management, and secure build pipelines.
• Develop and evolve infrastructure to support multiple markets across the EU and US, including cross-continental data storage patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (resource organization, IAM, networking, and compute/database services).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform or equivalent.
• Solid experience building and operating production observability for distributed systems.
• Comfortable working with TypeScript/Node.js services and developer workflows.
• Must be based in Europe for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Firestore multi-region setups or AlloyDB.
• Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience supporting compliance audits such as SOC2 or ISO from an infrastructure perspective.
