What you will do

• Lead technical discovery and qualification sessions to understand prospect cost challenges and business objectives.
• Own the technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) process, including POC preparation and management.
• Deliver tailored platform demonstrations showcasing SELECT's capabilities for specific customer use cases.
• Develop robust business cases and ROI analyses to articulate tangible cost savings and performance improvements.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for SELECT and drive the "technical win" for engagements.
• Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured technical input for R&D teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Data Platform observability, optimization, or FinOps.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate observations into actionable insights.
• Proven experience presenting complex technical topics to executive-level prospects.
• Must be based remotely in the UK or the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Prior professional experience as a Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery data engineer or architect.
• Background as a FinOps professional.
