What you will do

• Design, integrate, and validate electronic control systems for large-scale mining machinery.
• Develop application software and algorithms for emerging platforms.
• Document architecture specifications, software design, verification plans, and safety procedures.
• Debug, test, and maintain software and hardware systems through full verification and validation processes.
• Evaluate design tradeoffs, integration risks, and verification approaches.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and their applications.
• Experience in requirements analysis and product development for manufacturing.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the USA (Tucson, Mossville, or Irving).
• Strict onsite work requirement (Monday–Friday).

Nice to have

• 5–10 years of embedded control systems development experience.
• Experience with CAN, J1939, and Ethernet development and analysis tools.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink modeling in embedded environments.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation and FMEA processes.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git or ClearCase.
