What you will do

• Develop a workflow converting text prompts, sketches, or reference images into editable parametric geometry.
• Implement an iterative editing loop where conversational changes preserve the same underlying model.
• Build manufacturing-aware constraints, geometry validation, and export flows for real-world usability.
• Own the prototype architecture across geometry generation, representation, and user interaction.
• Collaborate with the build team to define product scope and mitigate technical risks.

Requirements

• Deep experience in CAD/CAM, computational geometry, parametric modeling, or computer graphics.
• Fluency in current GenAI tools and the ability to build rapidly without losing technical rigor.
• Strong engineering judgment regarding deterministic vs. generative geometry logic.
• Must have US work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
• Must be based within commuting distance of Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with CADQuery, OpenSCAD, Parasolid, STEP workflows, or FEA.
• Background in additive manufacturing or consumer product design tools.
• Past experience at companies like Autodesk, Onshape, or Shapr3D.
