What you will do

• Underwrite Non-QM and Non-Agency loan products, including Bank Statement Income, Asset Depletion, DSCR, and Foreign National loans.
• Maintain an underwriting pipeline of new loans and resubmissions according to standard service level agreements.
• Evaluate loan files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor and agency guidelines.
• Issue loan decisions to sales and operations staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Upload final approval documentation into company software systems with appropriate signatures.
• Collaborate with the Post-Closing department to resolve stipulations for closed files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Experience with Non-QM, Non-Agency, and manual underwriting.
• Knowledge of compliance and disclosure requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
