Licensed Civil Engineer (Site Design) (Civil 3D)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; field travel to construction sites may be required.

What you will do

• Independently perform engineering and project management duties for small to large land development projects.
• Evaluate, design, and prepare construction plans for mixed-use, commercial, residential, municipal, industrial, sports, school, and other site development projects.
• Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, project documents, scopes, schedules, and feasibility analyses.
• Coordinate project design aspects and communicate development and progress with project managers and clients.
• Maintain project information and client records in the project management system.
• Travel to job sites and conduct observations in varying terrain and weather conditions; provide technical guidance to less experienced staff when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• At least 4 years of related civil engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to work at construction sites and in varying terrain and weather conditions.
