Project Architect

Location: On-site in Minot, North Dakota, USA. Relocation assistance and a paid visit may be available for the right candidate.

Salary: $34–$52 per hour, depending on experience. Hours over 40 per week are paid at the base hourly rate.

What you will do

• Lead architectural projects from client engagement through construction completion.
• Plan and design commercial projects, including higher education, mixed-use, and historic renovation work.
• Prepare construction documents and oversee construction administration.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary internal teams.
• Refine architectural standards and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• On-site work in Minot, North Dakota, USA.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Current North Dakota architectural registration or the ability to obtain licensure upon hire.
• At least 10 years of progressive architectural design and consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, building systems, codes, regulatory standards, specifications, and cost considerations.
• Leadership, conceptual design, technical documentation, communication, and mentoring skills.

• Familiarity with industry-standard design and visualization software.
