What you will do

• Design complex plumbing systems, including medical gases, laboratory piping, and specialized healthcare infrastructure.
• Develop engineering calculations, technical specifications, and equipment selections.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of design and construction.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure strict compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Drive business development by identifying new healthcare opportunities and managing client relationships.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers to foster technical excellence and career growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of plumbing system design experience in an MEP environment.
• At least 3 years of specialized experience in healthcare plumbing design.
• Strong proficiency in medical gases, laboratory piping, and high-purity water systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage budgets, schedules, and scopes.
• Must be based in or able to work in San Diego, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
