What you will do

• Independently develop piping designs and 3D models using CADWorx.
• Lead portions of project scope and coordinate with engineers and other disciplines.
• Provide technical input on operability, model quality, and design standards.
• Support workshare execution, estimating, and change-management discussions.
• Ensure accuracy in models, drawings, and compliance with piping specifications.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Design Technology or equivalent +2 years practical experience.
• 10+ years piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or semiconductors).
• Proficiency in CADWorx with at least 3 years recent usage.
• Understanding of piping specs, materials, equipment interfaces, and layouts.
• Ability to read P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering docs.
• Strong independent work skills, communication, and organizational abilities in multi-discipline teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology.
• Experience in semiconductor facilities.
• Knowledge of pipe stress and support design.
• QA/QC workflows and specification-driven design.
• Advanced CADWorx skills and prior leadership in piping teams.
