What you will do

• Lead the underwriting process for multifamily, senior bridge, and construction loan deals.
• Develop tailored loan structures and credit recommendations in collaboration with production teams.
• Prepare detailed underwriting narratives and independent cash flow estimates for complex transactions.
• Conduct economic and market research to evaluate the competitiveness and feasibility of proposed collateral.
• Analyze property valuations and review third-party reports from appraisers, surveyors, and engineers.
• Present comprehensive credit memos and documentation to appropriate approval levels.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience underwriting Single, Multifamily, and Commercial Real Estate Loans.
• Must be based in the USA and able to travel as needed to execute role expectations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently in a remote work environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting, cash flow forecasting, and pricing metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Completion of a formal commercial loan underwriting training program (e.g., Omega).
• Experience with Moody’s Credit Lens.
• Proven track record in high-volume underwriting environments.
