TL;DR

Senior MES/EAP System Engineer (Semiconductor): Designing, building, and integrating automation testing and AI-enabled manufacturing solutions for semiconductor fabs with an accent on tool connectivity and enterprise manufacturing platforms. Focus on implementing SECS/GEM communication flows, developing EAP drivers, and optimizing factory integration during greenfield fab construction.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end factory integration initiatives from initial design through deployment and optimization.
  • Drive connectivity of manufacturing tools to enterprise systems including MES, EAP, RMS, RTD, SPC, and FDC.
  • Design and implement MES/EAP software solutions and automation frameworks for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Develop EAP driver automation, SECS/GEM communication flows, and equipment interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support factory automation, data collection, and analytics solutions.
  • Manage the full product and project lifecycle, including requirement collection, specification, and sign-off.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Taiwan.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or factory automation, specifically configuring MES systems.
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing systems such as FAB300, FACTORYworks, SiView, CamStar, or Critical Manufacturing MES.
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, Web programming, and SQL.
  • Deep expertise in equipment communication protocols, specifically SECS/GEM.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) frameworks.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven factory optimization and predictive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of data platforms, IIoT, and digital twin concepts.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
