Azure Solution Architect (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Own the target Microsoft Azure architecture for a multi-region security analytics and observability platform.
• Analyze the existing AWS environment and map Kubernetes, storage, networking, identity, and data workloads to Azure-native services.
• Define migration and re-platforming strategies while maintaining feature, security, and compliance parity.
• Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions with clients, cloud providers, and engineering teams.
• Present delivery scenarios, solution approaches, risks, dependencies, and Level of Effort estimates.
• Establish security, governance, networking, identity, access, secrets management, and operational standards while mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure solutions, including AKS, containers, Azure networking, PrivateLink, management groups, subscriptions, and IAM.
• Strong AWS architecture knowledge, including EKS, S3, DynamoDB, EFS, VPC networking, and IAM, with experience mapping workloads to Azure services.
• Experience with multi-region cloud environments, data residency, high availability, Splunk Cloud, Enterprise Security, SOAR, or comparable SIEM and observability platforms.
• Knowledge of SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, PKI, certificates, HashiCorp Vault, Okta, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, and configuration management tools.
• Fluent English is required, along with architecture leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Puppet experience.
