TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Morgantown, West Virginia

What you will do

  • Provide first-level support for user requests, including troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution using incident management systems.
  • Manage accurate user provisioning and documentation for security tracking and auditing purposes.
  • Monitor ongoing operations of the Data Center Facility and system-wide alerts.
  • Field an average of 40+ calls per shift while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide mentoring, training, and support for new technology projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2 years of help desk/customer service experience, OR an Associate degree in a technical field, OR currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Informatics.
  • Ability to work in Morgantown, West Virginia.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
  • Commitment to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work under high-stress conditions.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or informatics.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, HDI Help Desk Technician, MCP, or MCSE.
