What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues to maintain system functionality for OR and Anesthesia services.
• Implement and test system updates and modifications for basic clinical workflows.
• Provide classroom, one-on-one, and virtual software training and support to end-users.
• Develop training curriculum and materials aligned with organizational workflows and objectives.
• Assist in project coordination, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and align technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or 2 years of relevant experience).
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Morgantown, West Virginia.
• Ability to travel to other WVUHS facilities for implementations and support.
• Foundational experience in analyzing business needs and documenting functional specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical information clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or DICOM.
• Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare applications and web services.
• Proficiency in reporting tools and data analysis for delivering actionable insights.
• Experience working in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
