TL;DR

VP, Sourcing - Technology (IT Sourcing): Developing and executing sourcing strategies for IT categories including hardware, telecom, and cloud with an accent on cost reduction and supplier risk mitigation. Focus on negotiating comprehensive commercial agreements and managing supplier compliance to deliver bottom-line savings.

Location: Hybrid; must be based near a hirify.global Hub (e.g., Alpharetta, GA). Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship provided.

Salary: $110,000 - $185,000 Annual

What you will do

  • Lead category sourcing for Hardware, Telecom, Network, and Cloud to meet cost reduction targets.
  • Develop and implement overall supplier strategies to optimize productivity and performance.
  • Negotiate and draft comprehensive commercial agreements in collaboration with Legal and business owners.
  • Conduct RFPs, vendor research, and competitive analysis for products and services.
  • Oversee supplier compliance with regulatory and reputational requirements.
  • Utilize e-Auction tools to leverage competition and drive savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in IT Sourcing or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Must be 18+ years old and satisfy Federal Deposit Insurance Act requirements.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in the Financial Services Industry.
  • 4+ years experience managing IT processes or projects.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
