What you will do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of IT staff, including performance reviews, timecards, and professional development.
- Coordinate the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and legacy ambulatory systems.
- Manage production issues, diagnose unplanned system outages, and restore performance during crises.
- Lead project coordination, determine work effort estimates, and manage resource allocation for team projects.
- Facilitate training sessions and mentor team members on technical and customer service skills.
- Analyze and report operational performance using SQL and specialized reporting tools.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Morgantown, West Virginia.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science, or business with 3+ years of IT experience (or equivalent combination of degree and experience).
- Proven experience leading IT teams in operations and customer success.
- Technical proficiency in software development, application support, or HL7 interfaces.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work under high-stress conditions.
Nice to have
- Experience with Epic (EMR), PACS, or other clinical applications.
- Proficiency with WinTel servers, VMware, AHV, or SIEM tools.
- Advanced skills in SQL and Excel macros.
