Engineering Manager (UCaaS)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of senior software and infrastructure engineers.
• Partner with Product Management to define goals and translate strategy into execution.
• Drive planning and delivery of new features while maintaining operational excellence.
• Champion best practices in infrastructure as code, automation, and observability.
• Guide architecture decisions and contribute to complex troubleshooting.
• Ensure voice infrastructure is highly available, scalable, and resilient.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Experience leading remote teams with clear communication and trust.
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Docker).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and version control (Git).
• Experience with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, OpenStack).
• Proficiency with VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and telephony platforms (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Kamailio).
• Programming experience with PHP or Lua.
